LAB TESTING

At Lake Pointe we utilize a number of in-office and outside lab tests to determine the cause of your symptoms and create an individualized plan for your healing.

In office testing measures toxicity, adrenal stress, overall inflammation, cellular health and acidity. This is what differentiates theFunctional Physical from an annual physical.

  • Blood work to measure your Lipid Panel and Hemoglobin A1C
  • Urine and saliva testing
  • Body composition
  • Antioxidant Status
  • Omega 3 Level and Omega 6:3 Ratio

Lake Pointe utilizes the most innovative labs to look deeper at your health.

  • OAT (Organic Acids Test) w/GPL-TOX and MycoTOX
This OAT looks at how your body is functioning related to your overall internal chemistry, GI health, detoxification ability, energy production and brain neurotransmitters. GPL-TOX measures the levels of toxic chemicals in your body. MycoTOX specifically measures various mold levels that are routinely missed in traditional mold tests.
  • Dutch Complete™ and Dutch Plus Test™
Take your hormone testing to a new level. Instead of looking at a broad range number, both Dutch Tests measure how your body is using your hormones.  By looking at your sex hormones and cortisol from a functional standpoint, you doctor at Lake Pointe can find the imbalances and deficiencies that cause your symptoms.  The DUTCH Plus™ adds the Cortisol Awakening Response (CAR) to look deeper at your stress response and how it impacts your body.
  • CardioMetabolic Test
Most people get their blood sugar and cholesterol panel measured thinking they are covering their bases.  The CardioMetabolic Test measures over 30 additional markers, giving you a more comprehensive and accurate assessment of risk for heart disease and diabetes.
  • FIT (Food Inflammation Test)
The FIT test is used specifically to look for food sensitives, which is different than a true food allergy.  Often, people test negative to having a true allergy even though a specific food is still causing symptoms.  Measuring your body’s sensitivity markers determines which specific foods to avoid allowing you to minimize inflammation and optimize your health.
