Founded in chiropractic care, Lake Pointe Chiropractic and Wellness now also draws upon an extended palette of techniques and services, and we’re proud of all the professionals who serve our patients.
|Chiropractic Care & Functional Medicine
Our four chiropractors, Dr. Carrie Getzmier, Dr. Chad Peckels, Dr. Rebecca Adamek, and Dr. Jessica Peterson are fully credentialed doctors graduating from the Northwestern College of Chiropractic. While each brings a unique passion to our practice, our doctors share the common goals of genuine balanced health for each patient, as well as a commitment to their own continued education.
All of our chiropractors bring a family practice perspective to the team. Their valuable expertise in nutritional planning and detoxification protocols help our patients with the everyday challenges of achieving balanced health. With comprehensive training in functional medicine, our experienced doctors offer the Functional Physical to analyze and interpret important bio-markers of health, determining the body’s functionality and identifying barriers to health. All four utilize the chiropractic techniques of Applied Kinesiology, Motion Palpation, and Diversified, as well as the familiar tools of the Activator, and SOT Blocking. Each also has extensive experience treating athletes and related sports injuries, allowing them to understand the unique considerations of our most physically active patients.
Dr. Getzmier, Dr. Adamek, and Dr. Peterson also share an enthusiasm for providing balanced health for woman and children and have been certified in the Webster Technique and are certified by the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association). Through their treatments, they employ Cranial-Sacral Work, the Logan Basic techniques, and perhaps equally important, a gentle touch and the nurturing support necessary to restore any related imbalances.
